The News According to Nathan-2Well here is the second instalment of the wacky world of underreported news in this world that I feel should be shared with all you lovely people and to see what your thoughts and opinions are.

So if you happen to live in London, England I suggest you either go on a short vacation or you get your video camera or camera out and turn yourself into a journalist for a few days.  There is a rebellious call for days of action (March 28th – April 2nd 2009) for the upcoming G20 London Summit.

RE: God? Works for meArgue about what?  Their beliefs?  For what purpose exactly?  Are you looking for a shouting match or the chance to make someone feel inferior because of their beliefs?

To each their own.  Some believe there are many gods, others believe there is one, others believe there is none.  What does it matter what one believes when it comes to god, you have not provided sufficient proof that there is a "god", in some religions that would constitute a being floating around in the clouds watching over us, and perhaps there is a great power that we are completely unaware of, perhaps there is not.

The End Of Suburbia ?How do we begin to wean society from its addiction to the suburban lifestyle?

Suburbia was created after World War II due to the affordability of natural resources and the high rate of consumption that the suburban lifestyle created.  Have we become so addicted to the way we live that we are unwilling to accept the circumstances that we have created or is it that the government and business entities that have invested so much time, money and effort into creating a an economic giant are unwilling, or perhaps unable, to deal with the problem that they have created?  Perhaps it is a combination of both.

Buyer BewareWho would have thought the stupid tube contained actual information that is in fact, well real.  And before you start listing off a bunch of educational shows, this came from your everyday cops and robbers, non reality type television show.  During the show they brought up a term that is used to persuade people to buy more expensive products.  So me being me went straight to a search engine and frantically began searching for any information I could find on “asymmetrical dominance”, what is also referred to as a decoy effect.

To my surprise there is quite a bit of information relating to this term.  In marketing the decoy effect is

Times Are ChangingWe are made to believe that we as humans "do not like change" yet everything around us changes, some things at an astonishing rate.  Now when things change, they can either go two ways, the good or the bad (yin and the yang) or I like to use "you either progress or regress".  If we all embraced the positivity within change we, as in everyone on this earth, would all benefit from the progressive nature that could come about from such ideology.  Some may call it "utopian" although I believe that is just a narcissistic euphemism so those with closed minds do not have to open their eyes to the truth.

Our Struggle is Their StruggleSince I have begun tutoring on Saturday afternoons I have noticed the same two individuals sitting outside of the market every week.  One who I assume is homeless, and the other plays his keyboard and sells his CDs of what I can only guess is polka music.  Every week I drop some change into the case for the musician and I would usually give a dollar or two to the homeless man as well whenever I can.  Now I am currently unemployed and I am literally broke.  Yet I still am willing to give what I can.  Since I am weary of simply giving money to the homeless I have started going through the market and looking for items of food that only cost $1 a

I see now, that you are liberal base super anti-commercialism. This idea tries to live within the borders of America. Most, are usually individuals of youth age. Everytime the world has war, a variety of extremist, anti-governmental, anti-power monger typography is born. In the 60's America called them Hippies. No different then today. In time, this anit-attitude will end. Just as the days when hippies talked alot, and did nothing but make aqcusations. God Bless coprporate power. Without it, their would be no jobs, no industry to make us products we need. Unless Angels come to earth, and fill our rooms with food, and clothing. LOL.

If you mean liberal as in your democratic party, dont even think of it, the usual "liberal" in the US or canada are right-wing moderates, an actual leftist party would be the NDP in canada or the reform or green party in the US.

If you think corporations are the only source of jobs and manufacturing, you havent heard of public buisiness or co-ops, even normal non-corporate buisiness is still better than corporatism (corporations are completley different from regular buisinesses), almost everything in the US is privitized but government jobs so you wouldn't know first hand.

It wasn't the company or their history I was bashing, just their little marketing technique that's so recognisable that it doesn't need an explanation. Your right that apple better than microsoft, but I wouldn't be loyal to any one company.

haha okay i just had to make sure ( I would have taken no offense, but i do appreciate the Mac nature wich i think is more.. liberal and intelligent than a REAL corperate giant like microsoft) still a real smart concept and i do love the message, your whole gallery is very inspiring
